UPDATE 10/21/09

I will be playing in a massively large marching band on 10/24/09 in Tarrytown, NY with the Tappan Zee Bridgemen for the town Halloween parade. Should be a lot of fun and I think the band is going to be in costume. And speaking of being in costume, the entire Rockland County Concert band will be in costume for our annual Halloween concert. It is this Sunday, 10/25/09, at the Rockland Community College Cultural Arts Theater. Call me if you need tickets and I hope to see you there. If I don't see you there have a great Halloween anyway!

Update 10/10/09

Well I just finished 2 days with the David Glukh Klezmer Ensemble which was a lot of fun. I'm playing in Yonkers, NY tomorrow for the Peruvian Procession (2-6 in Yonkers) and recording at Mad Hands Studios in the next week or so (percussion ensemble material). Have a great rest of the weekend and happy Columbus Day!

Big parade in Nyack tomorrow(10/3 @ 2 PM). Hope we don't get too wet! I'm also playing for the Peruvian Procession in Elmhurst, NY on Sunday 10/4/09. Have a great weekend!

Tuesday night

Ah another Tuesday night and it's off to concert band rehearsal for me. I'm playing with The Orange County Band in Walden, NY on Saturday(9/26 @ 2 PM) and providing the backline for a HS reunion gig on Friday and Saturday. Should make for a busy weekend. Keep practicing!!

I hope everyone had a great summer! Back to school for all. I'm putting the finishing touches on "The Song of Quetzecoatal" and playing with The Tappan Zee Bridgemen tomorrow (9/19 @ 1:00) in Elmsford, NY.

UPDATE 9/11/09

Hope everyone is having a great back to school week. Playing tomorrow in Tallman, NY with the Orange County Band and Sunday in Poughkeepsie for the Italian American festival. It has been a rough week--we lost a dear member of our extended family, Jahmair. Go to jahmair.blogspot.com to see pics and eulogies. Have somehow finished working out Quetzecoatl parts during all this. A more detailed update will be posted when I've time.
